Hints and tips showing how to pass level 5416 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Since the developers are releasing 45 or more levels each week I will not be able to write tips for every level. By now you should be expert at most challenges. I will post videos for every level and write tips where I think they are needed but otherwise please feel free to give your tips in the comments.
Tip: Avoid using a colourbomb/stripe combo until the wraps at the bottom have been used. This combo will turn some of the wraps into stripes and they are not as useful as the wraps. Once the wraps are used then the colourbomb/stripe combo is a good one.

Double colour bomb and tick boosters if you have them
I can’t seem to get past this level even with full bot and starting with two color bombs together. I wish I had a tick booster. But almost every time I have a single waffle left. The fish are completely useless.
Using the tick booster done with 31 moves left !!!
Getting the leftover waffles after all the wraps are gone is impossible....if the fish attacked the waffles, this level might be doable...cannot figure this one out...bottom line...
After using a double color bomb combination, I passed by making stripe/wrap combos on the sides to repeatedly hit the waffles.
I have no more tick boosters.... :(

Thanks Bellezza, your tip about playing the side did the trick.
To hit the 'bobbles' is completely useless, as fish deriving from there later in the game don't eat waffles but some random candies in the top.
In fact, tick booster is perfect and you don't need any other booster to finish (won with 9 moves left)

Can’t get anywhere with this level. I can break up the crystals but I can’t clear the waffles. Don’t waste your flying saucer, if you have one. It won’t target the waffles. The fish might help clear the crystals, but not the waffles. Oh well, waiting for the lucky board.
I swear, posting on here brings the lucky board. Passed. I didn’t start with a check mark, because I didn’t have one. Started with stripe/wrap and color bomb. Might have had a partial bot. Anyway, 2 color bombs were next to each other when the level opened. I crashed them together. When the cascade stopped, there were 2 color bombs again next to each, so I crashed them, finished the level, and passed.
Oh, I needed to use a hand switch at the very end to line up a stripe to hit the last waffle.
Anyone else hate fish??
...gluten intolerant and can't eat waffles. They're of little use once crystals are gone.

Tick booster saved this one after trying double colourbomb and every other kind of combo. Passed with 1 move left
The fish only go after the waffles about 25% of the time. If you have a check booster, use it.
I tried multiple times with full booster bot to no avail. The waffles would end up in the outer corners and I couldn't get anything to hit them.

I desperately need help.i have used all my boosters & lives, The fish are not worth a flip! They hit everything but the waffles. I am trying to wait patently for HELP!
This level is a rip! I just rewatched your video and it is AMAZING how when the fish are hit they go straight to the bottom and pick off a waffle. When I hit a fish they go to the top and pick off nothing or ruin a booster I am working to make. I have had it! This level is made NOT to be completed and you have done a darn good job of doing that. Time for some Sudoku!
The only way to pass is the tick booster.
Do Candy Crush guys think we go on playing frustrating, boring, useless matches until the miracle board appears?

So now you can't reset the game. Tick booster is the only way I see to pass this. Nothing else got me close and the fish are useless.

OMG!! Think I'm done needed 4 waffles released a spaceship and it gave me wraps at the top of the board!! I'm so pissed i wasted my spaceship!!
Why is it the fish won't go to the bottom of the board to hit the waffles but they ALWAYS go to bottom of board to detonate a wrap so you can't switch them together!!! This is complete BS and I'm not spending money to buy checkmark booster which i guess is only way to pass

Don't waste a Fish Booster. The fish only target jelly, not the waffles.
the tick booster doesn't help much either as not many ticks show up on the board.
What happens now ? Candy crush use the fish as a weapon against us. Needed a lot of lives, 70, and without result, the best was 4 . How to solve this awfull level. Need a very verg lucky board otherwise quit

I have been stuck here for two bloody weeks. I have used boosters. I even bought 25 extra moves when I only had 5 waffles left to get. Nope. Couldn’t do it in 25 moves.

This is an awful level. I've got no ticks or hammers and got down to 2 waffles with 12 moves left, and guess what the fish go nowhere near the waffles! This is impossible 😡🙄
What is a tick booster?
Movimentos reduzidos e dificuldade aumentada. Este jogo está decadente e acabado. A cada nível os desenvolvedores do CC se superam em imbecilidade. Meu conselho para este nível é não usar e não comprar reforços, é isto que eles querem que você faça, melhor opção é deletar o CC.
Agora são apenas 19 movimentos, isto é uma piada e de mau gosto. Este nível é totalmente impossível. Chega!!! Não vou fazer papel de idiota para este jogo ridículo. Tem jogos melhores e inteligentes. Adeus, sorte para quem fica.

Fish don't seem to help at all, they only ever go to the top of the board. The closest I've got is 12 waffles left.

this level is nothing like the video! the fish only go and destroy cleared candy most of the time. What's the point of having the fish spawners in the lower section?! load of crap if you ask me.
