Hints and tips showing how to pass level 8290 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Tips and walkthrough video for this level. Even experts sometimes need help!
I will post videos for every level and write tips where I think they are needed but otherwise please feel free to give your tips in the comments.
Tips: Level 8290 is a jelly level and there is jelly over the whole board so everything has to be cleared to complete the level. Stripes are the answer to this level, you need them to clear the middle section of the board as there will be no candies in that section once the waffles are cleared. The spawner will clear the waffles but it will leave licorice instead. You may find it easier to clear the licorice than the waffles, but you will need to destroy the spawner at some stage as it will keep covering the jelly with licorice. There is no jelly under the spawner so the level can be completed without destroying it, but it is much harder.
Colourbomb/stripe combos are very good if you can make them and stripe/wrap combos also.

Finally made it with a luckier board, and had to use two hammers at the end, even with a 5 extra moves. I really didn't like thei level 👎

Seriously cannot get this level completed. Please help.

One week on one level is four days too long. One more day then it’s bye bye CC. No level should take this long. Can’t get anywhere near to doing it
Been on this entire episode for way too long! This level is absolute hell with all of this licorice it’s super hard to get past to destroy that spawner! Giving this to the end of today if I’m not passed it piece out king! I’m over you and your greed!

Here's my tip..i paid the 4.99 for the special, 6 hours of lives and specials you will need to clear board,I've been flying thru...i guess it's true you have to pay to win. My choice to pay and i don't think it affects anyone else's board..so please don't tell me i ruin it for you by paying.
Read the tips here first. Started with one CB, stripe/wrap and fish. Fish very helpful. Tip on clearing the spawner helpful. Used a hammer to finish off spawner. Finished with 10 moves left after 1St try.
8290 yust a nother inpossible hard level spend a lot of boosters but nothing works time to say good byyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy.

How the hell are we supposed to complete this? Impossible.

Stripes are never positioned to clear middle section
and are always the the wrong direction to do any good
I think this is the level that finishes cc for me, can't clear centre jellies with the moves given.
How has anyone passed this?

I was posting this and reading comments. I didn’t have any licorice. I was definitely on this level. When I returned to the game, there was the licorice. This game is nuts. It kept crashing the other day so I deleted ans reinstalled the app. When I opened the app I was back at level 1. Tried everything. Then suddenly last night I was back on my level. Go figure

It’s levels like this that make me want to quit. Of course there will be/should be some luck involved. But logic and skill should be part of it as well. And this board, after playing this round over 50 times—yes, 50 times—is putting me to sleep. There’s simply no hope. And I can’t look forward to any help from the candy box as I have switched my option three times and is now wants me to use a magic switch. HOW can I get a magic switch if I’m not able to pass a level?
