Hints and tips showing how to pass level 8408 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Tips and walkthrough video for this level. Even experts sometimes need help!
I will post videos for every level and write tips where I think they are needed but otherwise please feel free to give your tips in the comments.
Tips: Level 8408 is an orders level, you have to collect waffles to complete the level. This is pretty much impossible at the time of writing and most people who have passed it with 20 moves have used at least two UFO's to open up the left side of the board, I tried one and it never touched the waffles so it's up to you if you have enough UFO's to try this method.
First you need to collect the keys to unlock the stripes at the top and bottom of the board. Double colourbomb combos are the best combos to use if you can make them.
The video is the best I could find for now and the player uses quite a few boosters. I will try to post a more recent one if the level is made passable.

They’ve increased the number of moves and now candies fall down the middle to help. I still haven’t beat it with the allotted moves and the best I’ve done is 15 waffles left, but it’s less frustrating
I managed to get through the version in the video after many frustrating tries. Starting with the check mark booster helped; those candies changed to waffles so I didn’t have to clear all the ones down the left to hit the target number. Getting two color bombs together in the middle was the trick, which I had twice in one game. If you can get a color bomb on the right side of the board, change it with the candy color blocking the color bomb from dropping. Still takes a lucky board, though.
As per Alex's comment. The check mark booster helped a lot. I still needed 5 extra moves. But go with check mark.
This is the most frustrating, insane and impossible board I ever played. The waffles are only accessible from the 2 upper and bottom raws and also more difficult from the center. I never was close to clearance. Boring. Please change it making it feasible. Posting for luck.

Finally I got it! I had not a lucky but efficient board, where almost every combo and colour bomb hit the waffles. I finished moves with only 6 left and then I decided to spend 10 gold bars for 5 additional moves. It was quite easy in 2 moves on the left rows to achieve the target. In any case it was frustrating, boring level. By the way... why was the moves spin removed? Now the only way to get some is to spend gold bars....
Unlike the video and comments I am unable to get a clear board in the centre for CBs to fall together. Is there a trick to this? My guess it’s been changed again. No boosters for me so I guess it’s waiting for a miracle 😊
I completed this level only after using the tick booster.
I had 15 moves left, and bought 10 moves and used the ufo!
This was a impossible one without boosters!
Tex, I’m with you. No boosters here either. I guess the check mark, ufo, and gold bars are needed to pass this. Guess I’ll be here awhile. Not only is this frustrating it’s boring. Can’t even get close. I guess I’ll try posting for luck and see if that helps.

This level is hard, but not impossible to do without buying boosters. Key is to free up the left side of the board enough to get some candies in there. Try to open it up more by joining a colorbomb/wrap combo, to have these candies explode. Or off course, colorbomb/colorbomb. It took me 2 days to finally get this opportunity, quite boring. Then my team helped by getting me a UFO. Only 1 expoloding wrap was deposited in the left area, but it was enough to be able to finish it up with normal moves. So when you use an UFO, make sure there are enough open spaces for it to deposit a wrap. Also, make sure that you have enough moves to finish up the last blockers afterwards. Good luck!
Goodbye Candy Crush. After all these years of wasting time, this level is impossible and not even fun. No more wasting my time. It’s been a slice.

Day 2: just absolutely insane! Even the video used a saucer, and two handswithches, which I don't have.
This might just be the one where I find another game to play. Since 8300+ levels, every second one is a nightmare, just waiting two days and more for the lucky board. Is this supposed to be fun?
I can't see a way to win this without getting an incredibly lucky board, especially as I have no boosters
by some miracle I did get through this level by combining a choc sprinkle with a wrapped candy, this took out several of the wafers!
After reading the comments this morning and lacking boosters I concentrated on the choc sprinkle that fell down in the middle and used it and any other sprinkle that arrived on the left to hit the colours that were closest to the waffles on the right. It worked after four attempts and I am now moving on.

Been playing CC since it began years ago. Never bought boosters and never will. Ads everywhere so obviously make $’s from that. And you dish up a level that can’t be beaten. Can’t sell ad space if you’re losing players. Not smart ppl.
