Candy Crush Saga Level 8978 Tips and video

Hints and tips showing how to pass level 8978 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie Tips and walkthrough video for this level. Even experts sometimes need help! I will post videos for every level and write tips where I think they are needed but otherwise please feel free to give your tips in the comments.

Tips: Level 8978 is an ingredients level, you have to collect the two cherries to complete the level. The main task should be to clear the blockers down the middle of the board using stripes and combos. The combos you use to clear the blockers will also clear the rainbow twists down each side so that the cherries can drop to the bottom of the columns.

There are two ways to complete the level, one is to clear the blockers so that the colourbombs drop into the bottom section and you can switch two of them together. This method relies on you being able to make enough combos and the colourbombs dropping side by side at the bottom. The second method relies a bit more on luck but you don't need to clear all the blockers. Clear enough blockers at the top of the column to get colourbombs on the board, then hit the colourbombs with stripes or combos and with luck they will hit the yellow or red candies at the bottom of the board and this will allow the cherries to drop.
