Hints and tips showing how to pass level 9718 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Tips and walkthrough video for this level. Even experts sometimes need help!
I will post videos for every level and write tips where I think they are needed but otherwise please feel free to give your tips in the comments.
Tips: Level 9718 is a multi task level, you have to collect fish, licorice and jelly to complete the level. First try to collect the keys as soon as you can and at the same time look for combos to destroy the spawners. The licorice makes this a bit tricky until you manage to unlock it. Once the keys are collected you will be able to get the fish from the floats and these will help to clear a lot of the obstacles around the board. Getting a good start is the hardest part of this level, but as the board begins to clear it will get easier to make the combos you need to clear the level.
The level has been made significantly harder by adding licorice locks and at the time of writing there are no videos available, but the video below by Johnny Crush should give you some indication of how to pass the level.

Nowhere near enough moves and this level is really hard. Boosters don't even work and not marked hard. Help

With every level I pass, I always wonder how even more difficult the next one will be. With this level, I don’t feel that way because it’s so difficult, I don’t even think I’m going to pass it.
I'm on an android phone and again get ripped off with the number of moves as I only get 23
I am on an iPad and only get 23 moves too. This weeks levels have been ridiculous. I used to play this game for relaxation. Now it is just frustrating. I haven't even come close on this level. Need lucky board.
From the last comments I read I get the same felling make me feeling I am not the only one. Yes levels are becoming harder and harder. I suppose to make us stop which I am seriously considering
Dit level is werkelijk niet te doen. Ik heb al vaker gedacht ... ik stop met dit spel. Maar dan lukte het dan uit eindelijk toch weer. Dit is geen ontspannend spelletje meer het wordt moeilijker en moeilijker. Ik sta op punt van stoppen. Ik hoop dat ze het aanpassen.

I wish people would stop whining about moderately hard levels. Good grief, you’re at 9700+. This is no different from the previous 9700 levels and easier than many.

@Mason barge ...“Moderately hard”. Surely, you jest. Or, you have been relying upon a stockpile of boosters and/or extra moves to get where you are at. And, by the way, comparing the distribution of levels of difficulty for levels above 9000 (not just above 9700) to levels of difficulty below level 9000 is like comparing apples to oranges.
@Mason barge again …I should have mentioned that I completed this level on the 5th try -. But, to do so, I used my extremely limited supply of starting boosters - the Fish turning out to be the critical booster. For starting boosters, I am now left with 4 CBs, 3 WC/SCs and 3 Fish. My inventory also includes 2 UFOs and 9 Coconut Wheels (CWs). Dare you disclose your own inventory?
23 moves on kindle. I got pretty far but needed about 3 more moves to get more licorice. There was not enough for me to clear level.

I used the fish and CB ball booster and finished on the next try,,,,,same as Sentiel said to do.
The licorice in the video is touch and go. But, the one that I'm playing is the hard licorice the one you need a combo to break. It's kind of heavy to play for nothing, gets you tired of the game. But, anyway.. is it possible a super lucky board? Thank you very much.

Just came out of 1 level of hell to walk into another..this one may be worse than last and not tagged nightmare hard!! Help please.
Oh come on!! This is way worse than last level! You can't get anywhere, the sugar coats take over any decent move you cam manage to make! Give me a break please.

This is only easy if you have mega boosters to use and gold bars to finish up one or two ingredients.

Moeilijk. De video datje te zien krijgen heeft meer zetten dan het level dat ik krijg, ziet er ook veel gemakkelijker uit🤔🙁

It worked! Suddenly, I got a couple CB and wrap combos to knock out spawners. Fish helped clear up all the jellies on the board. Licorice was quite frustrating to complete since few are dispensed once board opens up. Either way I completed level on final move and so happy to get passed this one! Hang in there everyone! (Even you too, Ian). :)
OMG another impossible spawner level there’s no way I can get close to the keys because of them 😡😡 really need help with this one so a very lucky board would be appreciated and soon 🍀🍀🤞🤞

Well after 3 days I thought I’d have another try at this level what a mistake there’s just no way to beat this game how on earth can you get anywhere near the keys and the spawners are a nightmare lucky board would be great but can’t see that happening 😡😡

Having used all my gold bars to pass the last few levels am now confronted with this ridiculous level with nowhere near enough moves yet again!!! This is really getting boring, can’t even clear the top part let alone release the keys for the fish. Looking forward if I do Peter pass this level, four of the next seven levels are classified hard too. Am really fed up with all these levels now and refuse to spend money so will definitely need to look elsewhere now for something that entertains and needs some thought to play not just repetitive luck!!!!!
Please gift me with a magical miracle super easy board.
Greedy arse KING changed the game after its inception: Less moves & licorice locks------F'en unfair. All PLAYERS should have the same game, not a harder one.
