I'm hating this level... can't get through. Been doing it all day long!! 2 or 3 times I did clear all the jelly but didn't have enough points... grrr. Not fun at this point... LOL.
I have the same problem . The trick is to clear all the chocolate first - else it simply takes over
Same thing has happened to me twice, cleared all the jelly but not enough points, driving me mad !!
Agree with everyone! This level seems to take no skill, just luck. I hate playing over & over with no significant moves & having chocolate take over......or luck gets you all clear without enough points. This is the worst level so far.....stuck for days!
How do you keep the choc away on level 89? I clear it and then it's right bcak!!!
i so hate this level, of all level this is the worst. it makes me hate the ccs, i dont like to play candy crush anymore! i better stop!

I'm stuck and can't advance or get out. No moves to be made but flashes two red and one blue for me to make that move. Obviously this doesn't do anything, but now can't even get out to start over again. Most frustrating of all the levels.....
I made the mistake of buying the lollipop crusher when I had one jelly and one move left. I didn't pay attention to the score and totally wasted that. Finally did get through it. I had two good moves to clear out the last of the jellies but had to keep playing to get the points. That board sucked big time.
you have to bust all of the chocolate candies first because for each move that you make a new chocolate square appears and if you let too many appear it becomes too overwhelming and impossible to beat the board.
I hate this level!! Just about ready to pull the plug on ccs!!
I watched walk-through videos and the version is not the same: after the level is cleared, the number of points is showing much smaller than what we have now (it's like in a hundreds).
I am losing patience. Cleared jelly a couple of times but not enough points, not even close! I am stuck for days now and it's no fun anymore. I am not buying their boosters if that is what they are hoping for. How disappointing, I loved this game. Will try a couple more times and uninstall.

If you make a combo, the game won't let you make another until all the other moves it causes finishes. But chocolate knees going so, the next move you were planning is covered before you can execute it. grrrr!!! I don't think it should add chocolate several times, due to ancillary matches after the move I made, if I can't continue as well.

I tried it a half dozen times maybe. When you get to the beginning... Look at the board. If you don't have a chance to mske 4 in a row in the bottom- forget it. Go to the menu in the bottom left corner-hit the back arrow ( at the bottom of the menu) and it takes you back to the map. Hit 89 again and see if you get 4 in a row on the bottom 1/2. Keep trying this until you do. Then... Kill the chocolate! All of it! You may need a vertical stripe on the top 1/2 to help get the last chocolates. If you get lucky, you'll get a disco ball amd hook it up with a wrapper or stripe. If u get all the chocolate in the beginning, u should have 30+ moves left to clear the jelly. Get the bottom corners ( use stripes stratigically- move them to the right column). I dunno, it worked for me!
How do you go back to the map on the computer version??
I cleared this board in 3 tries using someone's tip on here. Look for 4 in a row to make a horizontal stripe to clear as much chocolate as possible at the very beginning!
Oops...I meant a vertical stripe!!!

Really annoying level just got past 88 now been stuck on 89 for about a month AAHHH!!!!
HAHAHA I did it the first time. Get rid of all the chocolate and most of your jellies, then work on racking up points. Then hit the final jelly left. woosh!
It took me 4 tries and i was able to complete. Play the bottom only clearing the chocolates and focus on the corners as they are the most challenging to clear. What happens at the top of the board is irrelevant....don't make more choc. pop up by little moves at the top.
Have been on this level for days. Used the tip from here about only starting a game if it had the potential to make a stripe and it worked! I'm moving on!

Read HINTS 1st to go after chocolate......never went to top. Kept my eye on points as was a concern. Took me 1 X !!

This is the stupidest waiste of time, it is not even fun anymore. Why in the world do you make it impossible to win a game there is no way to plan or setup a move.. People say to work the bottom, when you have no control on any of this ..it is stupid...
You are not creating a challenging or fun environment you are hypnotizing us into a bunch of addicted crazed zombies
Hate Candy Crush
Ya its a hard level, but stop all complaining its just a game.Just do some roll up level until you had a nice move to do in the bottom for beginning the game.
I cleared level 89 and it said "candy crush" and the fish swam across the screen and it sent me back to 89 instead of going to 90. Now I have to complete this stupid level again. Weird and very annoyed.
It's really very annoying feel like to throw the phone on the wall ..... I don't know who the idiot made this game
This level is ridiculous. I know I need to clear the bottom and get rid of chocolate but its hard to get rid of it if you don't have 3-4 of the same color. This level is only going to be won on luck.
This is crazy. I got this level on the first try with 10 lives left. Many other levels were 10 times for difficult. Beginners luck I guess.
It's luck on most of the level, and this one I think u have to buy extra moves and such , it's getting not so fun.
Completed on PC with aid of free boosters no idea why they appeared.
I cleared all the chocolates and while I was working on combos on top, the chocolates came back. I thought that once you cleared them they wouldn't come back!
Fourth try after reading this thread. Pure luck. Restarted till I got a vertical on top and potential threes on bottom. Started a cascade which led to a horizontal stripe on bottom which cleared all chocolate.
I hate these levels where luck rather than strategy is king. (Took me two weeks to get past 86.)
