Hints and tips showing how to pass level 3983 Candy Crush Saga by Cookie
Level 3983 is classified as a super hard level, read that as impossible!
It is a multi task level, you have to clear all the jelly and collect licorice to complete the level. The licorice won't be a problem to collect because it drops from the top almost constantly along the conveyor at the top of the board. However the fact that the licorice drops so much means that it is almost impossible to clear the jelly from the conveyor.
Once you unlock and clear the blockers from the middle of the board you will get a lot of stripes which you can use to clear the jelly in the middle section and some licorice too.
You will need to make lots of powerful combos, especially colourbomb combos to keep the licorice under control and get to as much jelly as possible.
Colourbomb/wrap combos would normally be the best for this kind of level but the candies along the top drop through into the main part of the board and don't do much damage to the jelly where you need them.
The moves have been increased to 33 so much more doable and here is the latest video by Lisa

If you have enough hammers, you can do it with a good board. And not to forget with a CB/wrap combo to begin. King want our money or our last boosters.
Used last 10 lollipops to hammer the jelly before licorice take over(-.-)
King is only trying to prevent johnny crush(look at the video) from hitting 1000 for lollipops and hand switches(#;*)
The last 3 or 4 episodes have been so awful. When my boosters are used up that will end this game for me.. Already downloaded two other games that aren't King games to move on too.. Won't miss this crap at all.
Here! Here! I’ve lost complete interest in this game. I used to be so excited to come play for the last 5 years... not anymore. If I had 500 boosters to beat these levels I’d still be eager to play. Burned through 100 these last 3 episodes & am completely out. SD only give you MAYBE 3 hands daily. There’s absolutely no incentive to keep playing. No relaxation, only irritation. How sad King, you’ve totally ruined this game, what a bunch of clueless programmers

Started with two CB, used a hand switch for another double CB, and another hand switch for wrap/stripe. Seemed to get quite a few stripe/wrap combos. Used a hammer and ended up with a few moves left. Fair bit of luck. -Boris

Needed to start with cb/cb or cb/wrap. Used reset, space dash, 3 hammers, and 2 switches. It is important to get the blockers out of the middle for there drops down two stripes with need to be put together to get rid of the licorice (and jelly). I also got 15 extra moves on the wheel. The 15 extra moves has been the only thing lucky with me lately. I ended up with a wrap/stripe twice to get each of the two last jelly. (I was lucky that way also.)
So it looks like you absolutely need a lucky board. What happened to skill? If all we need to do is wait for a lucky board, it takes out all of the fun for me.
I finally managed to pass this ridiculously hard level after collectict boosters. Start with CB+CB combo & most importantly FISH. Stripes don't work well because licorice drops all the time and you don't manage to clear it in time. When you clear the jelly from the conveyor with another combo it's better to use 1hammer for Fish wchich clears 3jellies. I used 3 hammers & 1 switch and it's been hard. Good luck 2all.

After 24 hours, finally! I played 3711 incessantly to get the BOT and lucky to still be able to reset to get 2 CBs together. I needed only one hammer to get the last jelly so I still have a couple hammers left. I know I'll need more for the next levels.

Difficult level... used full SD, 5 free extra moves, 6 lollipop hammers and a swap just to pass it. Glad to be moving on from this one.
This is truly a ridiculous level. I gave up going back to easy earlier levels to get “build-a-bot” boosters, as it didn’t really seem to be working (and the game isn’t allowing me to reset anymore, so it’s one and done). I, like many others have used up all my hammers and switches, so that wasn’t an option either. What I found is that it worked better if you don’t clear the center that allows stripes to fall too early, as this allowed the conveyor to leave open the hard to get jelly on the belt (yes, counter intuitive as it usually works best to blast things early with CB/CB). So clearly finally got the lucky board, but ended up doing it without any boosters!
Passed on first attempt 33+3moves 2 c/b and a fish to start 10 or so moves to spare and 2 stars. Call it luck.
If possible start with CB/CB, got 15 free moves after watching "video", done
Done 1st time with full spacedash 2cb together then had 5 extra moves with wheel lollipop to finish 😀
Got this first try. Started with double CB and added fish. They are the ones that cleared the jelly at the top. Kept firing the stripes in the middle to get the licorice. Done with 5 moves to spare. Good luck everyone!
I passed this 1st time with SD and fish. Key for me was CB plus wrap to start then making moves on right side to keep jellies on left on conveyor from getting blocked by licorice.
Absolutely unbelievable. I didn't believe that King could get any lower but this level is evidence that they are soulless assholes. I can't stand it any longer. Thought I'd be out at 4000 but done with the incessant pissing me off every other level or so.
The problem with this level is the jelly on the left side of the conveyor. IF you clear it then go to hit it with a combo, the licorice comes down BEFORE they get hit by your move, so the jelly lives on. I have no idea how to get these 4 jellies.

Fish booster helped me, finished with 11 moves to spare, cleared all the jelly in four moves, then it was easy to get the licorice.
These days I read the comments before I even attempt a level & BANG! nailed this one first go thanks to RAS advice. Set-up your stripe, stripe/stripe or wrap/stripe combo on the left & then play the right until you get a gap in the licorice. It may work the opposite way too but I had the top right jelly cleared reasonably early in the piece. Once again, Cheers RAS.
Have now played all boosters and still left with 1 jelly which seemed always to be covered by licorice no matter what I did :-( posting for luck and getting fed up

This level is so hard and I, like others, are out of boosters. You need a lucky board to pass..so guess I have to wait again for one :-(

Played like 100 times, used up all my boosters and nothing. I need a lucky board
Played loads then came here and passed next go. Started with a fish. Early on used 2 space ship boosters and cleared the jelly 2nd row from top. By chance didn’t clear the middle blockers till later concentrated on the jellies. Used 3rd space ship on final liquorice and bingo done.

I thought I I'm going to give up this game because of this hard level but using my last lollipop & fish booster I was able to go through.
So I advice everyone to PLEASE USE FISH & LOLLIPOP boosters!!! Take it from me! :)

Been on this level for enough time to know I cannot get through it unless I have a very lucky board. I do not save up my boosters. I think you can make it through if you have at least 10 hammers. I rarely have more than three or four. I need a lucky board for this level.

This is a subtle board and the owner has not described it well enough for tips.
The right dispenser drops ever 2 turns and the right converyor is empty of licorice while there are spaces in the centre to drop through so can be cleaner when the centre is empty.
The left conveyor becomes empty when the centre is filled and the licorice starts moving to the right side.
I did it on about T10 with 1 hammer.
Truly impossible to clear the top jellies I'll wait just a little time for a lucky board to come up this if not in the next few goes I'll have to pack itnand move on surely levels should give us some chance ??

I need a lucky board
Impossible level. Can never hit the top left jellies in conveyor. Licorice virtually always there. Very rare jelly is clear of licorice and if, if it is open need to have a crap ton of luck to have a stripe to hit it that isn't blocked elsewhere..getting a color bomb wrap combo doesn't get them either as they just fall right through the portals...trying to plan moves doesn't work either...just when you think you have everything set up..wham, it gets blown up...

Hoping for a lucky board please
I usually play about once a day. Been stuck on this level for a month! I get close but even when I have a stripe in the right place a licorice drops into the square I'm about to hit before the stripe breaks it! Crazy. This level is impossible without several hammers, even then I wonder if you can pass.
